Limited Edition Billiard Tables

Most of us learned to play pool or billiards in our local YMCA or youth center. Those of us who remain connoisseurs of the game like more style in our tables.

The most complete collection of antique, custom and contemporary pool tables in the world is found at Blatt Billiards located at 809 Broadway, New York City 10003 (www.blattbilliards,com).

These are limited edition and unique tables, created by hand, one at a time. Some of the more popular styles are The Belvedere-a solid table, The Union League-simple and elegant, The Griffith-with an Asian flair, and The Equestrian-for the country squire.  Delivery and installation is available worldwide.

Interior Design’s Rising Star - Grant K. Gibson

There’s a new rising–star in the San Francisco world of interior design and his name is Grant K. Gibson.  His specialty is creating eclectic mixtures of the old and the new for all budgets. By combining adventure, comfort and collectables with a blend of antiques he uses a modern approach that works well for small spaces.

grant_gibson1Gibson grew up in the Hollywood Hills and learned the design business in New York.  He travels to Europe on a regular basis and employs four other interior designers. By keeping his overhead low and his staff to a minimum, he can offer clients the individual attention to detail and keep the cost in line. The trick is to find inexpensive items, like $15 vintage books, pillows, and boxes that he picks up at flea markets with one or more expensive pieces—sometimes antique—sometimes from Pottery Barn.  He boasts that his clients are widespread from Marin County to San Francisco, to Carmel to New York. The word has obviously gotten around.
