Doing Casino Royalé Style At Any Casino
There’s a scene in the movie, Casino Royalé, where James Bond is dressing for dinner in the designer suit cunningly provided for him by his antagonist and, later lover. The suit is tailored and makes Daniel Craig look incredibly dashing while her dress is like watered silk running effortlessly over her skin. The jewels, the clothes, the hair and the set all reek of money. Not too many of us get an opportunity, or have the means, to dress in such a manner. Still, you can enjoy your next visit to a casino, even if it’s not in Montenegro, in “Bond-Style”. Dust off that dinner jacket, guys. If you don’t own a dinner jacket (shame on you), then go out immediately and buy one and have it custom-fitted, but only if you’re built like Bond. And gals? Do splurge on a slinky, cocktail or formal dress, depending on what suits you best. If you have a great body, the casino floor is a good place to strut your stuff. Who knows? You might just catch the eye of some high roller or get invited on a date to watch WSOP
Need to hide a few flaws? The right dress will still go a long way to making you look like a Bond girl. While it is to be hoped that you don’t run into any spies that are gunning for you, or have to battle an arch nemesis to save the world during your stay, there is no reason you can’t look ready to lock horns with the bad guys in style. If you’re splurging just to book a room, you might want to look at the possibility of renting the suit or dress, or maybe getting them second-hand. No one but you will know how much they cost or where you purchased them. Let the crowds on the casino floor wonder who you are. After all, being mysterious is also part of the Bond look. Gamble in style, and no matter who wins the pot; you’ll enjoy the games more.
